Jessica was raised in the Loveland/Greeley area with her dad as a professional cutting horse trainer. She grew up showing cutters, reiners, and all-around performance horses. When she graduated from high school she moved to Gainesville, Texas to work and train under Gary Putman at the then Draggin A ranch tiding reining horses. Following her time in Texas she returned home to Colorado and founded Generations Performance Horses. Following an accident that left her in the hospital for a few days she decided that with a young daughter she might need to find another potential income source so she went to veterinary technician school and then on to a position at CSU's Equine Veterinary Teaching Hospital as an emergency and critical care technician in the equine department. She remained there for 5 years before moving to Utah to help establish a new regional equine referral clinic. While in Utah her passion for training took over and she returned to training horses full time.

Jessica currently owns and operates Generations Performance Horses in Wellington, Colorado along with herhusband Sam Hendrix, DVM, daughter Kaylie, and son Paxton. We are truly honored to be a part of the GHW team and their pursuit to present their passion to the world with vision and style.
