His approach to hat making utilizes centuries-old tools and techniques of fine Parisienne hatters. Less factory style mass production, more handmade art, Greeley Hat Works Employees small talented team focused on providing each customer with the ultimate service and attention to detail.

Trent has garnered requests for custom hats from dignitaries including both George W. and George H.W. Bush; athletes Aaron rogers, Peyton Manning, Todd Helton, and Von Miller; actors Kevin Costner, Jimmy Fallon, and Charlie Sheen; rockstars and musicians including Aerosmith, PINK, Lady Gaga, The Band Perry, Toby Keith, Lyle Lovett, Chris Jansen, Miranda Lambert, and Red Steagall, just to name a few.

Trent has also created custom hats for movies and television shows including the iconic hats you see in the American TV Series Yellowstone, and the intense crime thriller Wind River. Trent's list of notable clients is constantly growing, but equally important to him are the hats he creates for cowboys, ranchers, rodeo queens, outdoorsman and customers from all walks of life.

Of all the "hats" Trent Wears the one he wears most proudly is that of creator. He excels at connecting with his clients, and then uses his design funnel to take their ideas and encapsulate them in a wearable piece of art. He is constantly working to master his craft, build an elite team, and promote classic western norms while pushing the boundaries of how hats should be built, worn and used.

“For John Dutton, I ended up making five different looks, five different hats, and for each look, there were multiple hats. For his silver belly hat, I made him three and his stunt double one. So for every person, I built multiple hats. The trick is to distress them, they need to look authentic.”

Trent's Vision

Trent's artistic qualities go much further than simply his work; he challenges the norms of a conservative and traditional cowboy way of life. Some would say this rock star, in his own right, is leading the way on a revolution to bring fashion and funk to a whole new level in a landscape filled with norms and taboos.

Trent wears many hats and rarely puts in less than 15-hour days. He is the definition of an entrepreneur, trend-setter, and move-and-shaker, but the most important things in his life are people. His family, including his three kids, take precedence. Many of his close friends and customers would go as far as to feel that they are family, too. Trent challenges the people in his life to constantly aspire for greatness and never accept the norm.
